What is it about?

The gang, five raging alcoholic narcissists, run a failing dive bar in South Philly (Paddy's Pub).

The gang concocts schemes for sex, money, fame, and any other terrible reason you can think of.

However, things never go to plan, as the gang (sometimes literally) has their plans blow up in their faces!

Brief backstory

Created by Rob McElhenney, who plays "Mac" in the show.
There have been 15 seasons of the show, making it the longest-running live-action comedy series of all time!
Danny DeVito joined the gang in season 2 and has been in it ever since.

The Gang

The gang consists of series developers Rob McElhenney (Mac), Glenn Howerton (Dennis) and Charlie Day (Charlie). It also stars Kaitlin Olson (Dee) and Danny DeVito (Frank)

The show is supported by returning talent: Artemis Pebdani, David Hornsby and Mary Elizabeth Ellis

Rob also co-created and stars in Apple TV's 'Mythic Quest'.

Rob is married to co-star Kaitlin Olson since 2008.

Glenn starred in Peacock's 'A.P. Bio' as Jack Griffin for 4-seasons

Glenn is married to Jill Latiano who played Caylee in 'The D.E.N.N.I.S. System' episode (s5e10)

Charlie is married to Elizabeth Mary Ellis aka 'The Waitress', his character's long term crush.

Kaitlin Olson was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series for her role as 'Cricket Melfi' in the comedy series 'Flipped'.

Kaitlin has 2 children with her husband co-star Rob McElhenney.

Danny DeVito gained prominence for his portrayal of the taxi dispatcher 'Louie De Palma' in the television series Taxi (1978–1983).

Danny has been in several Hollywood movies including: Throw Momma from the Train', 'Twins' and 'Batman Returns'.
